Hi Guys!
So I have just gotten back from one of the best holidays I have ever been on. My boyfriend, my daughter and I went on holiday to Centre Parcs Whinfell Forest in Penrith in the Lake District and it was the most beautiful place I think I have ever been to.
We spent the first day travelling here and then checking in and getting settled in so there wasn't really much time to do anything. However, throughout the week we went swimming in this absolutely huge swimming pool. There were huge water slides, three baby pools, a spa pool and a huge swimming pool with a wave machine. Isabella loved kicking her little legs and splashing. Sadly, there wasn't chance to get any pictures of her as my phone wasn't waterproof. There was a sports plaza that we went to on the second day, filled with bars, a baby play area and tennis and football courts. It was so cool.
We went to a restaurant called "Hucks" which has the most delicious food and drinks. The staff were lovely and very friendly and it was baby friendly too. They had free baby food and a microwave and bottle warmer for warming food up.
In the main village, which is all indoor as well, there was a supermarket and a few shops that sold trinkets and souvenirs as well as various restaurants. There was also a leisure centre which had a small arcade. We also went bowling in the leisure centre as well, which was so fun. There is also a spa and outside activities such as go karts and tree top adventures!
It was a beautiful place, with lovely little walks and a huge outdoor adventure playground for children. Honestly, the place is a 10/10 and a highly recommend you spend a week here. Hopefully the pictures below will convince you.
Centre Parcs is a wonderful place for families with and without children. There is something to do for everyone.
